Kevin Bahl pushed Aatu Räty straight into the boards Saturday night, and the Calgary Flames defenseman is now hearing calls for a suspension.
World Hockey Report called it the dirtiest play of the game and said it was intentional, wondering why it wouldn't draw three games.
The clip first circulated overnight from another account, with a much saltier verdict that won't be repeated here.
In the GIF, Bahl, in white No. 7, has his stick extended along the boards with Räty, in black No. 54, tight on his hip in front of the Molson signage.
If it's as deliberate as those critics say, it deserves a hard look. Pushing a player into the boards from that close leaves him nowhere to go.
It's cutting off a cyclist and pinning him against a parked car. Even if nothing breaks, everybody saw how close it came.

Kevin Bahl's ugly shove on Aatu Räty sparks calls for a suspension
Räty made the most of his night anyway, scoring shorthanded in Vancouver's 4-1 win.
It was his first game of the season, and he logged 9:30.
The 23-year-old carries an $850,000 cap hit.
Bahl finished with four penalty minutes in 22:37 of ice time.
He's a -1 through two games on a $5,350,000 cap hit.
The penalty box was busy all night, with Adam Klapka finishing at 25 penalty minutes and Luke Schenn at 17.
Leevi Merilainen stopped 23 of 24 shots for the win, while Devin Cooley took the loss in the Calgary net.
Drew O'Connor, Liam Ohgren and Elias Pettersson also scored, while Matthew Coronato had Calgary's lone goal.
Ryan Huska's Flames fell to 0-2-0, and Manny Malhotra's Canucks improved to 2-1-0.
Both teams are right back at it tonight, with Calgary in Seattle and Vegas visiting Vancouver.
Should Kevin Bahl be suspended for pushing Aatu Räty into the boards?
