Travis Konecny had a few words for the officials Saturday night, and the Philadelphia Flyers forward didn't bother keeping them quiet.

Flyers Nation posted the clip with a caption quoting what appeared to be his question, asking an official if he was insane, with a word in the middle that won't be printed here.

In the clip, Konecny stands toe to toe with an official in No. 80 near center ice, while referee No. 43 skates past in the background.

The graphic showed a 1-1 game with 6:29 on the first-period clock.

The Flyers were on a power play at the time, with 50 seconds left on it, which made the timing of the argument even more interesting.

Frustration makes sense. A team that got outscored 10-2 through its first two games isn't going to stay calm about every call.

It's the guy in the checkout line arguing about a coupon after his card already got declined twice.

Where's the offense? The Flyers were outshot 12-4 at that point.

Konecny has one assist, on the power play, and a -2 rating through two games.

The 29-year-old carries an $8,750,000 cap hit, second only to Trevor Zegras on the roster.

Travis Sanheim leads the Flyers with two points.

The Flyers opened with a 7-0 home loss to Pittsburgh, then fell 3-2 in overtime in New Jersey.

Joseph Woll finished at .932 in that overtime loss, the night he robbed Jesper Bratt at the doorstep. Daniel Vladar sits at .816 after starting the opener.

Rod Brind'Amour's Hurricanes came in 0-1-1 after a 5-2 loss to Washington on Friday, so both teams arrived hungry for a first win. Brandon Bussi sits at .872 for Carolina.

The Flyers visit Tampa Bay on Monday, while the Hurricanes head to Montreal for the Canadiens' home opener on Tuesday.

Venting at an official won't fix a power play or a shot count. Konecny's best answer is the next goal, and Philadelphia needs it soon.
