That word came straight from Savoie's own agent, relayed through Oilers Now and Menzies_4 Wednesday afternoon.
No sitdown. No offer. Nothing on the table right now, according to the report.

That timing is notable given the season Savoie just turned in.
He posted 37 points in 82 games this year, with 18 goals and 19 assists.
He also chipped in five power play goals, two shorthanded goals and five game winning goals.
Over his final 10 games, Savoie piled up five points, including three goals, showing he can still produce late in a long season.

Edmonton finished the season 41-30-11, good for 93 points and a plus-13 goal differential, riding a 6-2-2 mark over their final 10 games.
Savoie is still working on his entry level deal, carrying an $886,667 cap hit.
That number is about to look tiny compared to what he's earned on the ice.
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl already combine for more than $26 million against Edmonton's cap.
Evan Bouchard sits at $10.5 million on the back end, and none of those numbers are shrinking.
Every dollar the Oilers hand Savoie now has to fit around three max value contracts already on the books.
Stan Bowman has run Edmonton's front office since July 2024, and this is the kind of file that defines a GM's summer.
New head coach Mike Babcock, hired in late June, walks into a group where the young pieces need term, and term costs real money.
Letting this drag into August isn't some disaster. But it's not a good look either, not for a player who outproduced his contract by a mile.
It's a bit like a landlord who won't return calls about renewing the lease while the tenant just repainted the whole house for free.
There's no indication a deal is close. There's also no indication one is dead.
