Evander Kane selling $3.2 million home in San Jose

After even more controversy has appeared in Evander Kane's life, he is adding fuel to the fire that he may be on his way out of San Jose. On Tuesday, Kane put his home in San Jose up for sale.

The 30-year-old first purchased the home in August 2020 for $3,030,000. He is listed as a co-owner with his soon to be divorced wife Anna. Now, with the couple heading for divorce, their house is up for grabs with a new price of $3,199,950.

Kane seems to be continuing to struggle with off-ice issues consisting of legal trouble, bankruptcy, and some big-time girl problems. Back in January it was reported that he had gambling losses of over $1.5 million, and at the time only had $10.2 million in assets compared to liabilities of over $26.8 million.

Then nearly seven months later, Anna filed for divorce and accused him of betting on his own team's games, which the NHL is currently investigating. With all of the controversy, many of his teammates have stated they would rather have him not come back to the team at all. Only time will tell if any of this will get resolved, but things are looking very unfortunate for Kane at the moment.
