Taylor Hall re-signs with the Boston Bruins
The Boston Bruins have locked up pending unrestricted free agent forward Taylor Hall to a multi-year contract. According to Darren Dreger of TSN, the deal is four years and worth $24 million ($6 million AAV). The contract will also include a no-trade clause.
"Bruins and Taylor Hall are working on the final details of his agreement, including no-trade coverage. When finalized and signed, Hall stays in Boston for 4 years at $6 mil per season." Dreger said in a tweet on Thursday.
Hall, 29, started off the the 2020-21 season with the Buffalo Sabres after signing a one-year deal worth $8 million. At the trade deadline in April, Buffalo traded Hall along with forward Curtis Lazar in exchange for Anders Bjork and a 2021 second round pick. In 53 games, Hall tallied 33 points (10 G, 23 A), 26 penalty minutes, and was a -6.
