There have been whispers that Kevin Durant may leave the NBA to go play overseas, and he finally broke his silence on the entire situation.
Kevin Durant, the one-time Texas Longhorn and today's Phoenix Suns' superstar, shook the world recently with a surprising announcement of what's ahead for him.
The veteran of the Association made a possible transition away from professional competition on the American continent and migration into the EuroLeague, a move that would shake up the basketball world.
Durant has had a hungry appetite for international competition, even speculating in earlier years that he'd be hungry for some exposure to playing hoops over in Europe.
Barcelona, being one of the top of the EuroLeague, has been cited on individual occasions by Durant.
Durant loves Monaco and Barcelona as possible destinations
When recently asked if he still wants to leave, Durant confirmed his inclination towards the possibility. Barcelona and Monaco head his wish list if he were to leave for overseas.

"The EuroLeague is the second-best league in the world. I doubt it right now, Barcelona would be a nice place, Monaco would be a nice place, too. But for now, I love Phoenix. I'll stay there for now," said Durant about potentially playing in the EuroLeague.
For now, Durant stays committed to dominating on the court with the NBA and helping the Suns towards their title aspirations.
If Phoenix can't quite muster up a playoff ride of substantial longevity, however, the possibility of Durant surprising the globe and ending up in Europe becomes more of a possibility.
Though nothing can be said for a guarantee, his words certainly ignited speculation of what could be career-defining.
