Hockey Hall of Famer Chris Pronger Takes Aim at $128 Billion Corporation After Bad Experience
Chris Pronger recently had a bad experience involving a $128 billion corporation, and he made sure to voice his frustration publicly about the situation.
Chris Pronger was among the top NHL defensemen to play from 1993-2012 and had an accumulation of 698 points in 1,167 games. Fast forward, and 50-year-old Chris Pronger is definitely among the truly dominant players in hockey history.
In 2015, Pronger was elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame, locking up a career that few in the NHL could have hoped for. Being selected as the No. 2 overall draft pick, he set a standard very few have matched.
Recently, though, the former hockey star took to X and publicly tore into transportation giant Uber, claiming he had a horrible experience.
The post garnered mixed reactions; some felt Pronger was out of line by airing his grievances publicly.
Still, regardless of one's status, be it a multimillionaire or an average Joe, too many people believe customers have a right to call out companies when things go wrong.
Noted teams that Pronger played for include the St. Louis Blues, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Edmonton Oilers, and the Anaheim Ducks, which was the only team he won a Stanley Cup with.
His achievements in the sport ensure a legacy that will live for a long time in hockey.
Though Uber hasn't responded to the criticism thus far, having a high-profile persona like Pronger definitely raises a PR challenge, and hopefully, this will be amicably settled after his post on X.
