The Vancouver Canucks fell just short in their comeback bid against the Carolina Hurricanes, and in doing so, JT Miller let out plenty of frustration in a moment that was caught on the arena hot-mic in shocking fashion.

Monday night's slate of games in the NHL were full of drama and excitement, but the one game above all else that provided everything an NHL fan would enjoy was the Carolina Hurricanes vs. Vancouver Canucks battle. Despite facing one goal deficits several times throughout the game, the Canucks were able to salvage one point by pushing this one to overtime with a late equalizer in the third period, as Carolina came away victorious on yet another overtime winner from star forward Sebastian Aho.

However, a video posted to Reddit has revealed an even more intriguing moment from the game, as a hot mic in the arena has picked up star forward JT Miller letting out quite the frustration exclamation earlier on in the game.

It's unclear at this point why exactly Miller was letting out his frustration, as the team were down 2-1 at this stage of the game, but in a game full of intensity and emotion, it appears as though the veteran forward simply needed to get it out of his system. The 31-year old is off to another great start individually this season, with four goals and nine points through the team's first 8 games, but with several tight losses on the year, there's plenty of frustration in Vancouver.

After this, it's likely that the arena hot mic may be turned down a little during Canucks games, but ultimately this is a great showcase of the intensity and the passion that these players have for the game, with Miller simply needing to let it out of his system during a high-intensity affair.
