Utah Hockey Club acquires Mikhail Sergachev from Tampa Bay Lightning

The Utah Hockey Club have made their big move of the draft acquiring Mikhail Sergachev from the Tampa Bay Lightning for JJ Moser, Connor Geekie, Toronto's second round pick, and pick 199.

In a shock day 2 draft move, the Utah Hockey Club has acquired a superstar defenseman in Mikhail Sergachev.

Mikhail Sergachev is a former top-10 pick by the Montreal Canadiens, and signed an eight-year $68 million dollar deal.

This trade is the beginning of what could be a lot of big off-season moves for the Utah Hockey Club as they look to build a new identity in their new city. It is an exciting time to be a hockey fan! Sergachev certainly has a lot of potential.
