Florida Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk sends a message to fans ahead of game 7
The Florida Panthers nearly swept the Edmonton Oilers in this year's Stanley Cup finals, but have now been brought all the way to game 7 by Connor McDavid's squad.
With this in mind, franchise star Matthew Tkachuk, who was acquired two seasons ago for former 115 point scorer Jonathan Huberdeau, Mackenzie Weegar, Cole Schwindt, and a first round pick, has addressed fans.
Quite possibly the biggest and most exciting hockey game of the salary cap era, with the Edmonton Oilers being on the verge of a reverse sweep for the Stanley Cup, tensions are high. This is what Matthew Tkachuk had to say about it:
Tkachuk: «Most teams when you lose three in a playoff series, you don't have a chance at another game. Somehow both of us have an opportunity still. Very exciting. Leave it all out there. Desperation on both sides. It's been a very even series. It all comes down to this.»
No matter who wins the Stanley Cup tomorrow, we have definitely watched one of the greatest series in NHL history.
