Famous Edmonton Oilers flasher opens up on the Spittin' Chiclets podcast
If you are at all engaged in hockey social media, you have definitely seen the video of the viral Edmonton Oilers fan who flashed the audience at Rogers Place.
While at first she disappeared from the public eye, deleting her social media accounts, and trying to rid herself of the virality of the video, she has now met with the Spittin' Chiclets podcast to go over the wild events.
Wearing big sunglasses and a hat to shield her identity as much as possible, the girl, who we now know goes by Kate, said this:
The handful of Cheezies I ate all day and the eight Trulys I drank in the first period was definitely inspiring.
We were all going crazy. It wasn't planned or anything... and yeah, it just kind of happened.
Then, Kate revealed she initially got the video taken off of Twitter (X), in hopes to shield her privacy and not cause any damage to her life. While that was successful at first, it went downhill quickly when the viral video was reposted by several accounts looking for their fifteen minutes of fame.
It came back with a vengeance.
