QMJHL first overall pick forces trade Eric Lindros style

The QMJHL has fallen behind other junior leagues, such as the WHL and OHL, but it is still a high-quality place to develop.

Similarly to other junior leagues, the QMJHL has an amateur draft, and the first overall pick is extremely coveted. This year's first overall pick is Maddox Dagenais, son of another former QMJHL first overall pick - Pierre Dagenais.
