According to TSN's Pierre LeBrun, the Chicago Blackhawks and Florida Panthers have made a trade that gets the Hawks forwards Brett Connolly and Riley Stillman. Going the other way are Lucas Carlsson and Lucas Wallmark, Henrik Borgstrom and a 7th round pick.

Connolly, 28, has struggled this season with two goals and four points in 21 games, but is just one year removed from a 19 goal season. The former sixth overall draft selection has 100 goals and 192 points in 517 career games which has included stints with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals, and of course the Panthers. He has two seasons remaining on a deal that carries a $3.5 million cap hit.

Stillman, 23, has yet to carve out a regular role with the Panthers since being drafted in the fourth-round of the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He has played in eight games this season, and 43 overall in his career. He is in the final season of a three-year deal with a cap hit of $773,333 and will be a restricted free agent at seasons end.

This is a clear salary dump on the part of Florida, so expect the team to make at least one more move on the trade market before the deadline.
