Jaromir Jagr officially hired to join NHL front office
Jaromir Jagr is one of the greatest NHL players of all time, and is also simply a hockey phenom still playing professionally in his 50s.
Now, he is headed into a new battle, and a new career path by joining the Pittsburgh Penguins as their president of business operations.
The Pittsburgh Penguins are reportedly working on hiring legendary winger Jaromír Jágr to their front office, shares Rob Rossi of The Athletic in an interview with Penguins' President of Business Operations, Kevin Acklin. Acklin shared that the team is ready to enter a «new chapter» after Jágr's retirement ceremony in February. The team has been working on recruiting Jágr ever since, recently making an extra push while visiting Prague for the World Championship.
This is exciting news for Pittsburgh Penguins fans, who will see an all time great hockey mind, and a franchise legend join their organization. The Penguins recently retired Jagr's #68, but who knew that another chapter was coming so soon!
