If one thing has remained pretty steady over the last few seasons, it's the 7PM start time for NHL games. While there was nothing wrong with the 7PM game, the NHL has made a surprising scheduling decision for tomorrow's faceoff between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins.

The game 6, which was locked down by Matthew Knies' overtime goal last night, will be in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena at 8PM, rather than 7.

Thursday., May 2
• The start time of Game 6 of the First Round series between the Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs has been set for 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, May 2, in Toronto. The game will be televised on Sportsnet, CBC and TVA Sports in Canada. In the U.S. the game will on TBS and MAX.

Unsurprisingly, this has sparked angry reactions from fans, as this means the game will run well past 10PM.

This confusing move will leave many unable to watch the end of the game. Do you think 8PM is too late to start an NHL game?
