If hockey fights are your thing, the ECHL is always good for a few and usually has some good ones, including this one between Sam Jardine of the Greenville Swamp Rabbits and Arvin Atwal of the Florida Everblades. Near the end of the second period Sunday night, the two would drop the gloves for a very intense battle. A few big punches were landed by both parties, who were broken up by the officials when they eventually became too gassed to keep going.

Jardine, 27, is a former sixth round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks, although he has never played an NHL game. Atwal, 25, was never drafted and has spent his pro career going between the AHL and ECHL. Neither of these guys is a stranger to fighting on the ice, especially Atwal. It's worth noting that, while both received five minutes for fighting here, Atwal was also given a game misconduct for physical abuse of an official. There is no video of what led to that ruling. However, according to reports on social media, he became very grabby with the official as he was being led off the ice.
