The franchise star, who will likely get Hart trophy consideration this season as well as having won the Rocket Richard trophy with 69 goals has reportedly been suffering from a stomach illness for a while, which, per head coach Sheldon Keefe, is continuing to ail him.
This has led him now to missing practice today, which is worrying considering the Toronto Maple Leafs are facing elimination to the Boston Bruins tomorrow, ending their playoff hopes prematurely.
