Max Domi goes after Jeremy Swayman during TV timeout
With both teams vying for a spot in the second round of this season's NHL playoffs, Max Domi may have got himself in trouble after taking down Jeremy Sawayman during a TV timeout.
The Bruins and Maple Leafs are playing the third game in their playoff series. Though Toronto tied the series in their game Monday night, tensions are still high. However, Max Domi may have taken things too far after he took advantage of a TV timeout to take down Jeremy Swayman.
As officials go over to talk to Domi about his conduct, Swayman's teammate Pat Maroon was clearly agitated and decided to go straight to the official.
Though it looks to be an intentional bump by Domi, many viewers allege that Swayaman exaggerated the response. From another angle, it appears his loss of balance came noticeably after he was hit.
Though we do not know exactly what happened, it seems that no one will face penalties for this action. Toronto and Boston are now tied 1-1 at the end of the second period in tonight's game.
