Today the Arizona Coyotes were supposed to address their staff with the plan for the future. With the Coyotes expected to move to Salt Lake City next season much of the staff was left in the dark. Today that was all supposed to change until it didn't.
Just minutes before the meeting with the staff was supposed to begin it was postponed by ownership. The meeting was now moved to tomorrow without explanation.
They cancelled it 10 minutes before it was supposed to start and rescheduled for tomorrow- you can't make this stuff up
This once again is another misstep by the Arizona Coyotes ownership group who continuously refuse to handle things in a professional and timely manner. Once the ownership speaks with the staff there will likely be another update on the information shared. Tonight the Coyotes will play their final home game which will be a goodbye for the fans in Arizona.
With the Coyotes rumored to be getting a franchise back in the future this clear mishandling of the relocation is not promising. Hopefully in their time regrouping they can learn who to run the organization better.
