Controversial prospect Cutter Gauthier signs first NHL contract

Today one of the most controversial prospects in recent NHL history has decided to sign a contract. The Anaheim Ducks have announced that they have signed star forward Cutter Gauthier.

This season has been filled with controversy for Cutter Gauthier. The chaos began when Cutter Gauthier was traded from the Philadelphia Flyers to the Anaheim Ducks.


Shortly after the trade was completed it was announced by the Flyers that Cutter Gauthier refused to sign with them This made him an instant villain in Philadelphia. Fast forward to this weekend when Cutter would again get in trouble. This time it was for trash talk before a National Championship game he would eventually lose.



Now today the Anaheim Ducks have changed the narrative after signing the young star to their roster. Despite perceived attitude issues Cutter Gauthier will step into the Anaheim Ducks lineup and be a likely star.

With the season winding down it remains to be seen if Cutter Gauthier will be able to get into an NHL game before the end of the year. Either way the Anaheim Ducks have secured themselves a big piece for the future.
