This afternoon the Vegas Golden Knights have agreed to a major extension with star defenseman Noah Hanifin. The Golden Knights acquired him at the trade deadline and will now be keeping him around.

Shortly after the report from Elliotte Friedman, Pierre LeBrun came in and confirmed. Pierre LeBrun also confirmed the deal is an 8-year deal with a $7.35 M AAV.
