Noah Hanifin signs extension with the Vegas Golden Knights

This afternoon the Vegas Golden Knights have agreed to a major extension with star defenseman Noah Hanifin. The Golden Knights acquired him at the trade deadline and will now be keeping him around.

First reported by Elliotte Friedman the Vegas Golden Knights and defenseman Noah Hanifin are in agreement on a contract extension.





Shortly after the report from Elliotte Friedman, Pierre LeBrun came in and confirmed. Pierre LeBrun also confirmed the deal is an 8-year deal with a $7.35 M AAV.




Since coming to Vegas Noah Hanifin has played 16 games and has 9 points. He will now be a part of the very strong core the Vegas has built in pursuit of their second Stanley Cup championship.
