Reports came out earlier today that indicated that the Arizona Coyotes could be on the move to Salt Lake City as early as this month. Now the players are starting to share their thoughts on the situation.

NHL insider Frank Serravalli was the first to report about the potential relocation this afternoon. Since then, several other insiders have confirmed that this is a very real possibility. According to Elliotte Friedman, the team could be on the move as early as next week.

The NHL and the Arizona Coyotes are preparing for the possibility of a move to Utah as soon as April 18, per @FriedgeHNIC.

Since these reports have come out, everyone within the Coyotes organization has been sent scrambling. Perhaps no one is more effected by this news than the players themselves, who reportedly have not been properly informed about what is going on.

NEWS: It's my understanding that @ArizonaCoyotes players are following the Utah relocation developments through the media and social media.

There has not been any formal discussion between the team and the players about where things stand or any sale agreement, per team source.

This is an unacceptable way to run a business. At the end of the day, these are human beings we are talking about, nit just numbers on a paper. Their lives will be drastically changed by this move. According to one source from within the team, the players are not thrilled about the possibility of moving to Utah.

Craig Morgan on PHNX says players aren't excited about moving to Salt Lake City. «I know that. They're not excited about it.» #Yotes

Regardless of what happens next, it seems like we are finally close to getting some closure regarding the Coyotes' future. Hopefully, this is settled quickly.
