A 5-1 loss to the Ottawa Senators, Calgary's third loss in four games, was enough to set off the Flames' Milan Lucic Monday night as he went on a rant post-game, detailing all the issues he sees with the team right now.

"It's unacceptable," said Lucic. "You can't have everyone show up on Saturday and then expect it to be easy tonight. I think that's our problem right nowsometimes we want it to be too easy."

"It seems likewe just want it easy on a night to night basis. We don't want to work hard like we did when this coaching staff took over last year. There's more than enough people in this organization that need to look in the mirror."

Despite calls from many fans to fire coach Geoff Ward, Lucic insisted Ward isn't the issue.

"You hear a lot of outside noise talking about coaching and all thisstyle of play and all this bullshit. But that has nothing to do with the coaches," said Lucic. "That has everything to do with the guys that are playing."

The Flames have finished game three of a four games series against the Senators in which they've won just one of those games so far. Ottawa defeated Calgary 6-1 last Thursday before the Flames rallied for a 6-3 win Saturday night.

Calgary is now 10-11-2 on the season and sit in fifth place in the North Division, one point back of the Montreal Canadiens for the final playoff spot. The Flames have played three more games than Montreal. The team will take on Ottawa again on Thursday night.
