New details on Meghan Moore and Sidney Capolino's death: we just learned the assailant stalked the victims for quite a while before committing this disgusting crime.

Meghan Moore, 25, and Sidney Capolino, 23, passed away after a senseless crime committed by Luis Napoles, 40, who stalked Moore for a long time.

In the beginning, even the police thought that Napoles was Moore's boyfriend. However, her friends and family had no doubts about the fact that he constantly stalked her, was obsessed with her and desperatly wanted to be a part of her life.

Caroline Spat, a friend of the victims, shared the following statement:

"They were not boyfriend and girlfriend. I know the, you know, a ton of articles are saying that, that's in the headlines, Spalt told NBC. That's completely false. And, you know, I am 1,000 percent sure. I think I know, I talk to her every day."

She added: "You know he quickly became obsessive and he tried to insert himself into her life and she would keep her distance and he would continue to harass her. He would call her on made up numbers, not just 10 times, but hundreds of times."

This tragic event caused a major ripple effect in the NCAA and in the whole hockey community.

Updates and details will come as the investigation goes on.
