Canucks Defenseman Makes Shocking Statement About MacKinnon
Nikita Zadorov said today that he would take Nathan MacKinnon over Connor McDavid and Auston Matthews if he was building a team from scratch.

The veteran defenseman made the statement ahead of the Canuck's match against the Colorado Avalanche. He went on to further elaborate on his thoughts about MacKinnon, citing his winning history. Tonight'd game served to further his case.
"If I were to build a team I'd build it around him (Nathan MacKinnon) because he's a Stanley Cup winner."
Avalanche Complete Unlikely Comeback Over Vancouver Canucks
The Canucks built a three-goal lead over the first two periods but Colorado finally answered back with less than two seconds left in the period. The Avalanche captain would play an important role in the game-winning goal as well. The Avalanche were on the powerplay again as Canucks defenseman Carson Soucy took a delay of game with just seconds left in regulation.
The Avalanche captain would take another one-timer in overtime. This one hit Valeri Nichushkin in the visor, deflecting past the Canucks goaltender.
