Jacob Markstrom Calls Out The Flames for Mismanagement
The Calgary Flames have been discussing a Jacob Markstrom deal with the New Jersey Devils for some time now, and it appears as though they've angered their star goaltender in the process.

After revealing yesterday that they intend to hold onto Markstrom through the trade deadline, Sportsnet's Eric Francis asked the star goaltender about the whole situation, and understandably, he wasn't too happy.
i think everyone in here, every player in here, I really respect everything that's been going on. How everyone in this room have handled everything, I think it's been really good. The whole situation and everything, am I happy about it? No, I'm not. And I think it could've been handled a lot different from up top.
While the Devils reportedly haven't given up on a deal, the Flames have been messing with their star goaltenders head, and given this response, they have seven days to make a final, huge decision.
With the team being seven points out of a playoff spot, they may not have the firepower to chase down either Nashville or Los Angeles, and with that in mind, it's very unlikely that we've heard the end of this story.
