Bains, 23 years-old, is undrafted and signed a contract with his hometown Canucks last summer.
In 42 games with the Abbotsford Canucks in the AHL, he tallied an impressive 39 points.
He's yet to score his first NHL point, but with the way he played, it shouldn't take long before he gets his name on the scoresheet.
