The All-Star weekend has officially kicked off today with the draft and the PWHL events taking place in Toronto. There were many fun and interesting stories being shared including an unexpected story about Carey Price that was shared by Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki.

Suzuki Shares Interesting Story About Price

During an interview at the All-Star events tonight, Suzuki answered a question about Carey Price with a fun story. He revealed that the goaltender actually loves to play forward as well. In fact, he would always bring skater gear just in case the team needed him to dress as an emergency forward instead of playing in goal.

That would have been freaking awesome 😩

Unfortunately, we never got a chance to see Price skate out as a forward for the team. At this point his NHL career is all but over as a player due to knee problems. However, he is technically still under contract for the remainder of the season, as well as the next two seasons. This could give the goaltender a chance to recover to the point where dressing for a game may be possible. Perhaps the team will even give him a chance to play forward for the team at some point down the stretch. After all, Price will always be one of the most beloved Habs of all time and most would certainly love the chance to watch him play one more time, even if it is as a forward.
