It was announced today that the Minnesota Wild have claimed defenseman
Declan Chisholm on waivers from the Winnipeg Jets.
Chisholm, 24, has played in only 4 NHL games thus far in his career, but has put up incredible numbers in the AHL. The Jets, who are one of the league's best teams, had no choice but to waive him, much to the delight of the Minnesota Wild.
The Wild traded young defenseman
Calen Addison earlier this season, and Chisholm will be a nice boost to their prospect pool.
