San Jose Sharks Defenseman Matt Benning Undergoes Season-Ending Hip Surgery
The San Jose Sharks released this statement:
San Jose Sharks General Manager Mike Grier announced today that defenseman Matt Benning underwent successful hip surgery. The injury is expected to keep him out for the remainder of the 2023-24 season and the estimated time of recovery for this kind of injury is approximately five months.
Benning is anticipated to be ready for the start of the 2024-25 Sharks Training Camp.
