So sad to hear that Reggie Savage passed away at age 53 after battling cancer. Reggie was a good friend during our two seasons together with the Baltimore Skipjacks. He scored his first NHL goal on a penalty shot & his jersey is on display at the @HockeyHallFame in Toronto. RIP

Reminiscing On The Pro Career Of A Former Player Gone Too Soon

After being drafted by the Washington Capitals in 1988 Savage would go on to play in the QMJHL for two more seasons. It was at that point in the 1990-91 season that Reggie Savage would make his NHL debut.

Savage's pro hockey career lasted over a decade in total. During that time he played 34 NHL games, 481 AHL games and another 149 IHL games. Savage was a hockey journeyman who loved the game and dedicated his life to perfecting his craft.

Our condolences go out to Reggie Savage's friends and family during such a difficult time.
