Waivers Likely for Future Hall-Of-Famer Corey Perry After Mysterious Departure From the BlackhawksCorey Perry
's time in Chicago has been very interesting. He started off as a mentor for their young players, but mysteriously left the team last week. Several rumours emerged linking Perry to an extramarital affair with a teammate's mother, but it appears those were false.
Now, renowned insider Elliotte Friedman has hinted that Perry is done in Chicago, and will either be traded or waived.
According to Elliotte Friedman: "He could either be traded or put on waivers."
Possible Destinations for Corey Perry
Coming off of three straight bargain deals, the Blackhawks paid up for Perry this season, giving him a four-million dollar deal. A team like San Jose would make sense, or a brief reunion in Anaheim (which would be adorable!).
Either way, it appears Perry's time in Chicago is over.
