BREAKING: Terrible News Confirmed for Trevor Zegras
The Anaheim Ducks have made significant progress in their rebuild this year. The team is currently 8-6, good for 4th in the Pacific division after finishing dead last in the league last year. However, a new significant injury could hurt the team this season.
Anaheim Ducks Place Star Forward Zegras On Injured Reserve
The team announced today that 22-year-old forward and former 9th overall pick Trevor Zegras is going on injured reserve.
Zegras has not played a game since November 7th when he sustained an injury against the Penguins as the Ducks lost 2-0.
Assuming the move is retroactive to the 7th, Zegras will miss at least the next three games against the Predators, Avalanche, and Panthers. He would first be eligible to return for their game against the Blues on the 19th.
