MAJOR: Flames Defenseman Officially Demands Trade

Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse for the Calgary Flames, the team falls even deeper into chaos.

During the Flames 5-4 overtime loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs last night, defenceman Nikita Zadorov scored a goal. His agent posted video of it on social media with a surprising statement.

Someone responded to Milstein's post asking if the Flames could keep Zadorov. Milstein was blunt.

Once the game had ended, Zadorov's official trade request was made public.

According to Sportsnet, both the Maple Leafs and Vancouver Canucks are interested in getting Zadorov, although I suspect there will be many other teams in the mix as well. The blueliner is currently maing $3.75 million and becomes an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
