BREAKING: Bedard's Fate Confirmed in Chicago

Connor Bedard has been fantastic to start his NHL career. The Blackhawks have now confirmed he is here to stay.

With both Connor Bedard and Kevin Korchinski playing in their 10th NHL games tonight, it confirms that they will be finishing the season in the NHL.

The team has nine games to let their ELC's slide and send them to junior. This decision implies the unsurprising choice to keep them in the big league.

Bedard, a first overall pick with elite pedigree has become the teams' top centre. Korchinski, the seventh overall pick in 2022 has emerged as a clear top-4 defenseman with a bright future in Chicago.

While the team isn't great, the Blackhawks clearly have a lot of hope for the future.
