BREAKING: Jack Hughes Exits Game With Scary Injury
The New Jersey Devils had a massive loss when they had superstar Jack Hughes exit the game with an apparent upper-body injury.
Hughes Injured
Midway through the first period of tonights game between the Devils and the Blues, 2019 1st overall pick Jack Hughes went flying into the boards and was left sprawled out on the ice grimacing in pain.
Hughes went out for another shift but that went right down the tunnel after he got off the ice.
Hughes currently leads the NHL in points with five goals and 20 points through 9 games this season. The Devils are already without 2017 first overall pick Nico Hischier so the loss of Hughes would be felt even more than it normally would.
