BREAKING: Marchand's Dirty Slewfoot Injures Key Leafs Defenseman

A major injury has occurred tonight due to yet another dirty play by Brad Marchand.

Tonight the rivalry between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins was renewed. The game is now surrounded by controversy after a dirty play was left uncalled after leading to an injury.

Liljegren had to leave the game after this hit and has not returned. Despite having a referee right in the play Marchand was not assessed a penalty for what is clearly a slewfoot.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day to see if Marchand faces any discipline from the league despite not being penalized on the play.
