Maple Leafs Booed Off the Ice After Embarrassing Performance

The Toronto Maple Leafs are as close to a playoff lock as a team can be, but last night they didn't show it. Fans made sure to let them know of their disappointment.

Against the red-hot LA Kings last night, the Maple Leafs mustered up just a single goal. They allowed four, and were truly blown out. Their stars didn't show up, and their goaltending was horrible.

Analyst Steve Dangle put it very concretely:

After being down 3-0 at the end of the second, fans began to boo them off the ice - well deserved due to their terrible game at that point.

This certainly wasn't the type of "boo" that the team was expecting on Halloween eve.
