The Montreal Canadiens have been struggling with injuries lately and they have just lost another key player.

The Montreal Canadiens just announced that veteran defenseman David Savard is out with an upper-body injury.

It is believed that this shift is where Savard got injured.

When Savard took a puck to the hand knocking the stick out, it is believed that than injured him.

The Canadiens were able to go on and win last night's game against the Sabres 3-1 and Savard's heroics were a large part of the victory.
