BREAKING: Veteran Sam Gagner Signs A New Contract

Sam Gagner has signed a new contract with a surprising new team.

It was just announced that the Bakersfield Condors of the AHL have signed Sam Gagner to a contract.

Gagner is a 1000-game veteran and was originally drafted by the Oilers in the 2007 draft 6th overall. He has played the majority of his NHL career in Edmonton and played for the Jets last year.

If he is able to prove he is too good for the AHL, there is a chance he can return to the NHL with either the Oilers or some other team.
