Youth Hockey Player Attempts to Go After Linesmen After Fight
Fights aren't necessarily rare in youth hockey. This one is one a whole different level, though.
Going After the Official
A recent youth hockey game in Latvia went south fast after two players got into a fight. One kid, 79 in black, appears to be much large than the rest, and has no issue throwing his weight around. However, while he's pushing another player around, 11 in white comes at him quickly and tries to take him down by kicking the back of his leg. That just serves to make 79 angrier, and he goes after 11. As the linesmen try to break up the melee, 79 starts throwing punches at the officials. Eventually, they take him down.
Punishment
No word at the moment on any possible punishment, but it's far to assume 79 won't be playing youth hockey for a while, if ever again. Passion is one thing, but cooler heads must prevail.
