Fans react to Top 10 goalies list from NHL Network

The NHL Network seems to get more controversial with each new list it releases. After putting out a list of the top 20 defenceman, wingers and centres in recent weeks, the Network has now released a list of what it sees as the Top 10 goalies in the league right now. Needless to say, not everyone agrees with their assessment.

Before going any further, here is the list:

Many of the goalies on this list are certainly deserving of a spot in the top 10 list. Placements will always be debated. That said, a lot of the controversy from fans seems to deal with whether Jordan Binnington of the St. Louis Blues deserves to be on this list at all, regardless of placement.

Others say Binnington should not be judged on one bad playoffs, which he certainly had in 2020, going 0-5 with an .851 save percentage and 4.72 goals against average. Outside of that debate, others just felt the list was bad in general.
