Former Leafs prospect Brandon Kozun may not have had a successful run in North America, but what he has managed to do for himself in the KHL in the six years since departing from the Maple Leafs organization is really quite admirable.

Kozun, 30, is in the midst of a stellar 2020-21 season with Dinamo Minsk, having registered 13 goals and 21 points through just 19 games played thus far, putting him well ahead of the pace for a career year.

In fact, with a goal in yesterday's contest against CSKA Moscow, Kozun has now strung together goals in 6-straight, setting a new franchise record for longest goal streak in Dinamo history. Not bad for a diminutive forward who seemed to struggle at the highest level in North America, recording just 4 points in 20 games for the Leafs in 2014-15.

Kozun, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in the 6th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft (179th overall), now has 11 points through his last eight games as he looks to continue his successful 2020-21 campaign.
