Anaheim to Lose Zegras? What Pat Verbeek Doesn't See
The Anaheim Ducks' general manager, Pat Verbeek, doesn't seem to be stressed out about potentially losing
Trevor Zegras or
Jamie Drysdale.
Both of them are still RFAs and aren't attending the team's training camp.
The main thing is this: a source revealed that the Ducks offered a contract around $3-4M AAV. There's something Verbeek doesn't see in him that Zegras and the rest of the NHL see, which could force the player out of Anaheim. If nothing happens, he could get an offer sheet from any team, at any moment.

Also, there have been a lot of trade rumors over the summer, but now, with the regular season set to begin in less than two weeks, the idea is gaining popularity.
The guys over at
Spittin' Chiclets recently linked Zegras to a surprising team.
Zegras to be Traded Soon to a Canadian Team No One Expected?
Matt Murley, on
Spittin' Chiclets, said that he thinks the Leafs could be in the running to get him.
While they don't have the resources to make him an offer sheet, they could trade for his rights.
If a potential deal is on the horizon, one can only expect to see
William Nylander involved in it.
Would you make that one-on-one trade?
