MAJOR: Ryan Reaves details Aggressive Altercation with NHL Coach

Ryan Reves has made a fantastic career for himself in the NHL as a very physical presence, forcing his intimidation tactics on his opponents, but his latest story reveals no one, not even coaches were safe.

While playing with the St. Louis Blues, Reaves was at the peak of his physical initimidation, and his latest appearance on the Empty Netters podcast revealed a major incident.

With the Blues, Reaves detailed the story of his physical intimidation with Ken Hitchcock, a veteran NHL coach, in which Reaves grabbed him by the tie on the bench and threatened him in a big way.

While that seems like something that could destroy a relationship, it did the opposite in fact, as Reaves went to apologize for the incident, but got a very veteran response from the coach.

Seemingly, the two got on well beyond this exchange, but it's safe to say that's something no one would expect in today's NHL, so we will wait and see whether something like this happens again in 2023-24 with Sheldon Keefe behind the bench.
