Patrice Bergeron announced his retirement a couple of weeks ago. Next up looks to be David Krejci as he recently announced a hint at when he may make a decision on his retirement.
While Krejci does not rule out a return to the Bruins or hockey in general he will not be with the team to start the season. This allows him time to recover and be around if the Bruins come calling about a potential playoff run. If not playing in Europe and then at the World Championships is the most likely scenario.
Krejci would be a great addition to the Bruins for a playoff run. He has led the team in playoff points in multiple different seasons including on their way to the 2011 Stanley Cup.
