A top-three pick is set to make a massive career move later today shocking everybody.

Cooley Set To Sign

Logan Cooley announced earlier this offseason that he would be returning to the University of Minnesota despite being ready for the NHL.




Today, we can expect to see Cooley sign after a report from Gabe Foley, the Head North American Scout at Recruit Scouting.


This report was later confirmed by insiders Elliotte Friedman and Craig Morgan.

Cooley's NHL Readiness

Cooley is certainly ready for the NHL with many advanced metrics stating that he could turn pro next year.


Cooley is coming off of a strong 2022-23 campaign where he scored 22 goals and 60 points in 39 NCAA games. He also scored 14 points in 7 World Junior Championships which was second only to Connor Bedard.


Cooley will look to make an impact in the Coyotes' top six and potentially work his way up to the first line by the end of the year with Arizona.
