The Vancouver Canucks have extended one of their young stars to a multi-year deal.
Canucks Extend Hoglander
It was just announced that the Vancouver Canucks will be extending Nils Hoglander.
-
In 2021-22, Hoglander posted 27 points in 56 games. He has yet to reach that pace since but he still has plenty of talent to do so. Playing alongside other top end players such as Elias Pettersson could help him unlock his true potential.
He had a lackluster year last year where he scored only 9 points in 25 games in sheltered minutes. However, he was looking strong near the end of the year.
This is a nice low risk/high reward contract by the Canucks which could pay dividends if Hoglander develops into what everybody knows he can be.
Will Hoglander have over 50 points next season?
