The Toronto Maple Leafs are finalizing a contract for one of their top young Goalies, according to reports.

The Leafs are expected to sign G Artur Akhtyamov to a three-year, entry level contract, according to a report from Hockey News Hub.
Akhtyamov, 21, has been one of the best Goalies in Russia this season, posting a 20-12-6 record with a 1.74GAA and .943SV% for Almetyevsk of the Russian 2nd league, the parent club of the KHL's AK Bars Kazan.
Akhtyamov was drafted by the Leafs in the 4th Round, 106th overall, in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft.
An official announcement from the Maple Leafs should be made soon.
