BREAKING: Predators and Avalanche Make a Trade
Trade season is starting to pick up, and the Nashville Predators and Colorado Avalanche have now made a deal.
Johansen Traded
The Nashville Predators announced today that they traded Ryan Johansen to the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for Alex Galchenyuk.
Johansen will have half of his $8-million cap hit retained for the next two years.
This is Predators GM Barry Trotz's first trade in his new position - clearing this much cap space is quite the gain.
We will see how this deal plays out for the two teams.
